On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, the IIT Goa Medical Unit, in collaboration with PHC Ponda, organized a Health Camp for the staff and students of IIT Goa on 13th June 2025.

The camp commenced with an HIV Awareness Session that covered vital topics such as symptoms, modes of transmission, prevention strategies, available treatments, testing facilities, and counselling support. As part of the camp: 130 participants were screened for anemia, and those diagnosed with anemia were provided with free medication. 70 individuals underwent Blood Group Testing. The initiative aimed to promote health awareness and early detection, reinforcing IIT Goa's commitment to the well-being of its community.
