Prof. Dhirendra S. Katti, Director, IIT Goa, attended the two-day Visitor’s Conference 2024–25 at Rashtrapati Bhavan (March 3–4, 2025), where in the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, and Hon’ble Minister of Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, addressed higher education leaders. The conference focused on key themes such as academic flexibility, internationalization, translational research, student selection, and assessment reforms in line with the National Education Policy (NEP). Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Union Minister of State for Education; Shri. Jayant Chaudhary, Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship; Prof. Ajay Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Prime Minister; Shri Amit Khare, Advisor to the Prime Minister; Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary, DST; Dr. Vineet Joshi, Secretary, Department of Higher Education; and Smt. Deepti Umashankar, Secretary to the President also graced the occasion.
