NCPOR hosted the 2nd meeting with the Indian Institute of Technology Goa to explore potential collaborations for developing advanced instrumentation for polar and ocean studies. Dr. Thamban Meloth, Director, NCPOR, welcomed the IIT Goa team led by Prof. Dhirendra S. Katti and Prof. Prasad Gogineni from the University of Alabama. Dr. Bhanu Pratap, Scientist at NCPOR, emphasized the significance of the #Himalayan Cryosphere, while Prof. Gogineni highlighted the crucial role of sensors in advancing polar and ocean research.
