'Biological Innovation, Technology, Engineering, and Sciences (BITES-2024) at NIT Rourkela

NIT Rourkela, in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand, inaugurated the International Conference on 'Biological Innovation, Technology, Engineering, and Sciences (BITES-2024)' on 18.12.2024. This three-day event is hosted by the Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Rourkela. The theme of the conference is 'The Future of Biological Innovation.' Prof. Dhirendra S. Katti (Director of Indian Institute of Technology Goa) graced the event as the Chief Guest and Prof. Bidyut K. Mohanty (VCOM, USA) as the Guest of Honor. The conference received 100 research abstracts and participation of 60 attendees in person and 40 online. Around 50 experts from USA, Egypt, Malaysia, Portugal, Singapore, and reputed Indian institutions such as IITs, NITs, and central universities are taking sessions as the speakers of the conference.
