1st Senate Meeting

The 1^st senate meeting of IIT Goa was convened on 30^th January 2018 in its temporary campus in Farmagudi, Ponda. The meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of IIT Goa Director, Prof. B. K. Mishra and was attended by the nominated members of senate as well as heads of the concerned departments from IIT Bombay. All the faculty members of IIT Goa and student representatives also participated in the meeting. Members of the senate discussed various agenda items related to academic and other functions of the institute. Senate gave its approval to some important items such as introduction of the PhD program, starting of a new degree course, School based academic structure etc.
