Site Selection Committee visits Rivona, Goa for the selection of a land parcel for IIT Goa campus. IIT Goa expresses gratitude to committee members and Sri Subhash Phal Desai, the Hon'ble Minister of Social Welfare, Government of Goa, for his active participation.
The committee comprised Prof. K.N. Satyanarayana, Director IIT Tirupati; Prof. B.K. Mishra, Director IIT Goa; Prof. S. Sudarshan, DD IIT Bombay; Sri Prasad Lolayekar, Secretary of Education, Govt. of Goa; Sri A. K. Agarwal, CPWD and Sri D.K. Sharma, MoE, Govt. of India.
The committee, in principle, agreed on the suitability of the Rivona site.
