CSIR-AMPRI and IIT Goa jointly organised a workshop on the occasion of 78th CSIR Foundation Day

IIT Goa Director and a delegate of faculty members visited CSIR- Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (CSIR-AMPRI), Bhopal to attend a one-day workshop on Advanced Materials and Processes. The workshop was jointly organized by CSIR-AMPRI and IIT Goa on 28th September 2019 to celebrate the 78th CSIR Foundation Day. After the interaction session with the AMPRI Director Dr. A. K. Srivastava, IIT Goa Director Prof. B. K. Mishra delivered the Foundation Day lecture on "Particulate Materials", which was followed by the prize ceremony, laboratory visits, technological presentations, and discussions. Dr. N. Sathish and Dr. Meraj Ahmed, Senior scientists, CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal and Prof. Sachin D. Kore, IIT Goa coordinated the workshop. Prof. Sachin D. Kore, Dr. Santosh Kumar, and Dr. Sandip Haldar presented some of the research and technological activities being undertaken at IIT Goa. The research and development activities of CSIR-AMPRI were also presented by their scientists. The workshop provided an opportunity for scientists of CSIR-AMPRI and for faculty members of IIT Goa to learn about their current research work and available infrastructure at the Institutes. They interacted on topics of mutual interest to work together on various collaborative projects of national importance.\r\n
