Independence Day

IIT Goa celebrated 70 years of India's independence with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Director of IIT Goa Dr. B.K. Mishra unfurled the flag along with Dr. B.B. Appaji, the Senior Sports Officer of IIT Goa. The students and staff members then proceeded to proudly sing the National Anthem. The Director addressed the guests and participants on the special occasion. Ms. Gunjan Goyal serenated everyone present with a beautiful song, in the memory of all the lives laid down for the country. This was followed by a patriotic song by Mr.Shivam Pandey and Mr. Shreyash Tripathi, students of IIT Goa. Their song filled everyone with a sense of pride and love for our country.
