IPS-2018 at IIT Goa

International Proteomics Symposium (IPS-2018) was organized as the first ever scientific symposium at IIT Goa on 22nd Feb 2018. The symposium was conceptualized with the purpose of providing an opportunity to the students and the thriving research community of Goa to witness the state-of-the art in the immensely important field of proteomics research. The half-day symposium had five talks by the international experts in this field. Prof. Sanjeeva Srivastava (IIT Bombay, India) delivered the opening lecture followed by Mr. Bendon Maclean (University of Washington, USA). Three other talks were delivered by Dr. Cristina and Dr. Eva Borras (both from CRG/UPF Barcelona, Spain) and Dr. Nathalie Selvesek (ETH Zürich, Switzerland). Approximately 120 students, research scholars and faculty members from various universities and institutes in Goa such as NIO, NCAOR, Goa university attended the symposium.
