IIT Goa celebrated the 68th Republic Day of the nation on January 26, 2017. It was on this day in the year 1950 that the constitution of India came into effect, thereby, cementing India's status as a sovereign socialist secular democratic republic. Keeping up with tradition, Dean Prof. Sharad Bhartiya hoisted the national flag during the ceremony held at the GEC grounds.
