Curriculum:

The M.Tech. program in Mechanical started in Autumn 2019.

The usual M.Tech. student joins IIT when they graduate out of an Engineering college or after some industrial experience. Our objective is to empower students in their quest for knowledge in Mechanical engineering. At the end of their 2-year journey, if the student chooses to join the industry, they will contribute positively to the industry. They get to design and build complicated software systems. They will understand rigor in proofs. The students are expected to do research under the guidance of faculty members at IIT Goa, resulting in a meaningful and significant thesis work.
