We are a vibrant young school with dynamic faculty members. The research interests of the faculty ranges from postcolonial literature to globalization, gender studies, economic & social disparity, development related issues, economic planning, sociolinguistics, language policy and planning, language endangerment, monetary and Macroeconomics,applied econometrics, computational social sciences. The faculty members of the school are currently engaged in various projects in the areas mentioned. The school in future, plans to do cutting edge interdisciplinary research with collaboration of faculty in the school, in other schools of the institute, and other centres of excellence in India and abroad.
