Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Goa is proud to host the IEEE Technical Sponsored First International Symposium on Advances in Intelligent Robotics & Industrial Automation (IRIA) during September 20-22, 2021. IRIA-2021 will be a three-day event. As a preamble, on September 20, there will be tutorials on emerging and proven technologies in different areas of robotics and automation. Formal symposium proceedings will be conducted during 21-22 September 2021.

IIT Goa was established in 2016. It strives to become a unique institution of higher learning, offering state of the art education, research, and training in science and technology to have impact on society, environment and global challenges. In a short span of four years since its establishment, IIT Goa has established itself in the region through its science and technology outreach activities, grants and awards to its faculty and engagement with industry. It has signed several MoUs with industry, academia and national R&D laboratories both within India and abroad for student and faculty exchange, and joint academic and research activities.
