No. Once registered, neither refund is allowed nor can the registration be transferred. Please read the details about the course carefully and make sure that you are interested in completing the course, before you register.

The UTR/UPI transaction number provided during registration links the payment to the participant. If registration is not completed during the registration period, it is likely that you will lose money.

Yes, you will get an email confirmation after you have completed the registration.

A laptop/desktop with webcam and mic along with connectivity to internet (3G speed preferable) will be required. The details of software to be installed will be provided before start of the course. You can use smartphones with internet connectivity but your experience may not be that great if mobile data network at your place is not good.

The focus of this course is on teaching theoretical and programming aspects. Demonstration of codes will be given and faculty may give programming assignments (depending upon scope for them, with regards to the topics covered) that can be done using open source tools. Model answers to these assignments(if given) will also be posted on the portal.

Yes, all participants will have access to an online discussion forum to post their doubts and questions. Answers to clarify those doubts will also be posted in the discussion forum.

The lectures are supposed to be attended live. Recording of the sessions will be available for viewing, for missed lectures. Recordings will be made available within 48 hours. Recorded lectures should not be considered as a replacement for live lectures. The platform hosting recorded lectures may not be available 24X7.

Yes, record of attendance for participants will be maintained. Minimum 50 percent attendance for online (live) lectures, will be needed to appear for the examination. Attendance for a lecture will be considered when the participant attends at least of 45 minutes of lecture.This will be strictly enforced.

Yes, those who pass in the exam, will get a certificate with grades. Those who fail in the exam will get a participation certificate, provided they meet the attendance criteria. Those who take the mock test and meet the attendance criteria but fail to appear in the end-course exam because of some urgent reason will receive participation certificates.

All certificates will be issued jointly by the four Nodal Centers at IIT Goa, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Palakkad.

No, it will not be possible to download the videos. Access to videos will be view only. This access will remain available until 15 days after the end-course exam.

Yes, courses on various topics related to AI will be offered in online mode in the future.

We encourage you to attend live sessions as much as possible. If you are unable to attend because of some pressing need, you can watch the recorded videos. Watching the video will not be counted towards attendance.

You will have to join the live lecture for attendance to be automatically recorded.

Yes there is discussion forum that is available for every session when you login as a registered participant of the course AI SHIKSHA.

No. You don’t need access to any AI facility for this purpose. The necessary software will be informed by the faculty which can be installed on desktop/ laptop and practised.

This will be informed by the faculty and a guide will be made available on the portal

There is no provision for re-exam.

Mettl will be used. It is the participants' responsibility to ensure that their laptops/desktops/tablets etc. satisfy the technical requirements of Mettl. We do not provide any support in this regard.

You need to send to us your disability certificate as issued by a govt. doctor. Only then we can tell you whether a scribe will be allowed or not.

The end-course examination will be held on a Sunday morning at 11:00 AM, two weeks after the course is over. Please refer to the course calendar for exact date. The question paper and answer keys will not be shared after the examination.

The certificate will be issued within 1 month from date of examination.
