Greetings from IIT Goa's Culturals! At IIT Goa we undertake a variety of cultural activities, which are broadly classified under 6 genres – Dance, Music, Dramatics, Fine Arts, Literary, and Photography.
Culturals @IIT Goa promotes a vibrant and electic campus experience through organizing innumerable multifarious activities pertaining to the cultural events, bringing people from all walks, interests, and ethnicity come together in ways to stimulate community interaction.
All starts from the freshers party ‘Fresco Fiesta’ welcoming the new entrants to the new family, to Independence Day and Republic Day, from Eid to Diwali, Christmas to Lohri, Teacher’s Day to Children’s Day, and the most exciting ‘CultRang’. IIT Goa’s cultural council, with a blend of Goan culture presents extravaganza of art and culture, entertaining and enriching the lives of the people at the institute.

The cultural council organized bonfire, jam sessions, other fun games and kite flying events in lieu of makar sakranti and lohri.
A tree plantation event was conducted to begin with the festivities of CultRang 2020.
A cultural programme was organized by the council to mark the Republic Day.
A blood donation camp was organized under CultRang 2020.
A marathon was organized to inaugurate the event with fitness.
The college's first ever Techno Cultural fest was organized, which turned out to be a huge success.
The dance club, Meraki, and the music club, Orion, prepared a dance and a music video respectively for the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 2020. A quiz competition was organised by the Oratory club, Panache, in the spirit of Gandhi Jayanti on 1st October 2020.
To mark the National Education Day on 11th November 2020, the council organised an Essay writing competition and a debate competition.
The council conducted an Inter College Photography contest, Inter College Kavi Sammelan and an Intra College Decoration and Rangoli competitions over a week in the spirit of Diwali
The introduction of the various cultural clubs and their members was given to the newly admitted first year students.
The literature club, Qalam, conducted an article writing competition to celebrate the National Youth Day marked every year on 12th June. Participants were required to share their perspectives on implementation of Swami Vivekananda’s values and principles in the modern era, highlighting their opinions on how the youth should reform their mentality and vision of the world.
The dance club- Meraki, and the music club- Orion, prepared a dance and a music video respectively. The Fine Arts club, Eunoia, and the Literature club, Qalam, organised a poster making - quote writing competition for all the students of IIT Goa. The theme for the competition was “What does Republic mean to you?
A number of literature competitions and fun activities were planned in the online mode.
The fest was organised completely online with various Cultural competitions, Fun events, Musical performances and a Comedy show.
Orion(The music club) and Mukhota(The Drama club) prepared a music video and a drama video respectively.
Originals along with Qalam released a poetic tribute video.
Meraki(Dance club) prepared a dance video on the occasion of Ganeshotsav.
