NSM Nodal Centres for Training in HPC and AI, along with CDAC, are organizing a 13-week course on High Performance Computing. This is planned from November 2020 through January 2021, and is open to everyone.
The course is named HPC Shiksha - Basics of High Performance Computing motivated by the PARAM series of supercomputers which heralded the era of indigeneous supercomputing in India. You can learn more about the PARAM series of supercomputers here.
An end of course examination will be conducted online. Top performers will be given Book Prizes The successful candidates will be awarded a certificate with grades. Others will be given certificates of participation.
The objective of this course is to teach participants the basic concepts of parallel computing and equip them with knowledge which will be sufficient enough for them to write parallel programs using industry-standard parallel programming frameworks.
The event is scheduled online. E-meeting details will be mailed to the participants at the e-mail id filled in the registration form. Additional guest lectures by experts from industry partners will also be conducted.
