Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Goa, in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology, Goa College of Engineering, is organizing a Bootcamp Training Program for the capacity building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drone and related Technology).
The course is named “Fundamentals of Drone Systems and AI/ML for Drone Vision” - This course delves deep into the basics of quadcopters and their assembly, tackle on-board computing challenges, and apply IoT concepts in the context of UAVs. The course also explores agricultural monitoring tasks and discovers image recognition applications in drone technology. Participants will be equipped to unlock the full potential of AI in the world of drone technology.
In this course, our objective is to empower participants with essential knowledge of AI, Computer Vision Algorithms for drones and low power computing for microcontrollers used in UAVs. By the course's end, participants will have the proficiency to navigate the drone landscape, employing industry-standard tools and techniques to unlock the full potential of AI in drone technology.
The event is scheduled offline and requires the candidates to spend 5 days to cover the 40 hours in physical classroom and lab sessions.
