Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Goa, Farmagudi, Goa, is organizing a Bootcamp Training Program for the SwaYaan-Capacity building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drone and related Technology) under a project funded by MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology), Government of India.
The bootcamp training is on “Fundamentals of 5G Communications: A Drone Perspective”, a comprehensive course which delves deep into the basics of drone technology to the integration of communications on board UAVs. From the essentials of flight to the intricacies of machine learning, and beyond 5G communications, participants will be equipped to unlock the full potential in the world of drone technology. The course will be a balance of theoretical and practical sessions, covering both mathematical and applied aspects of drone communications.
In the comprehensive course, our objective is to empower participants with essential knowledge in the vibrant fields of 5G Communications and beyond, with a special focus on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. By the end of the course, participants would have the proficiency in drone technologies, and their potential in the communication industry. The participants would be efficiently acquainted with navigating the drone landscape, employing industry-standard tools and techniques to unlock the full potential of drone technologies.
The event is scheduled offline and requires the candidates to spend 5 days to cover the 40 hours in physical classroom lectures and lab/hands-on sessions.
No accommodation will be provided. Candidates have to make their own arrangements for accommodation.
