2nd Senate Meeting
The 2nd Senate meeting of IIT Goa was convened on 28th June, 2018 in its temporary Campus in GEC Farmagudi. The meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of Prof. B. K. Mishra, Director, IIT Goa and was attended by the nominated members of Senate as well as heads of the concerned departments from IIT Bombay. 31 members, special invitees, and invitees including student's representative participated in the meeting in person and 5 members participated through video conferencing.

4th International Yoga Day
4th International Day of Yoga was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students, staffs and faculties of IIT Goa on 21 st June 2018. The event started with welcome speech by Dr. Sachin Kore, Dean (Student Affairs), followed by Director's address to the participants. Yoga Instructor Mr. Manmohan Sewda, Jr. Assistant, IIT Goa, demonstrated 19 different yoga asanas.

GOAT cooperation programe meet
"As a follow up of the recent Indo-French "Knowledge Summit" held in New-Delhi during the visit of President Emmanuel MACRON, a team of French Academicians and researchers from Bretagne (ENSTA, ENIB, ..) visited IIT-Goa. The delegation was received by the Director, Prof BK Mishra. A one day discussion meeting was held between the visitors and the Institute faculty to examine closely convergence of ideas towards identifying proposals for eventual collaborative actions. Indian Institute of Technology Goa hosted the IIT Directors Meet of 3rd Generation IITs on 6th April 2018 at the International Centre, Dona Paula, Goa. Directors namely, Prof. Manoj Singh Gaur (IIT Jammu), Prof. P. Seshu (IIT Dharwad), Prof. K.N. Satyanarayana (IIT Tirupati), Prof. Rajat Moona (IIT Bhilai) and Prof. C.V.R. Goa ATlantic Cooperation Program
The Indian Institute of Technology, Goa signed the letter of Intent with The Campus Mondial de la Mer, CMM, representing the whole community of marine sciences and technology of Western Brittany, France, and the Naval Group to join their efforts to develop the Goa ATlantic cooperation programme (GOAT). The pre-listed partners constituting the GOAT consortium have decided to cooperate in the area of Marine Science and Technology.
